How do vented and non-vented regulators differ?
When the pressure downstream of a vented regulator exceeds the set pressure by some amount (this varies based on the regulator), that excess pressure vents out the regulator into the atmosphere. Alternately, a non-vented regulator will not vent excess pressure downstream of the regulator.
First of all, this high-quality regulator, valve and gauge combination allows Fixed Base Operators (FBOs) to safely and efficiently fill the oxygen systems of the airplanes they service. However, this non-venting regulator does not come supplied with a flex hose or adapters. We supply these separately. To order a complete kit with an assortment of adapters and flex hose, order item 00GSE-1050-08.
In addition, our system also incorporates built-in filters as well as a flow restrictor to prevent filling too fast.
All components are cleaned and ready for oxygen use.
For use with DIN 477-9 oxygen fitting.
